In the event of bad weather, CCS will announce school closures through a variety of media outlets that can be visited by clicking the links below or tuning into that station/channel. In certain circumstances, the administration may decide to
close even though a public announcement was not made.
A telephone robo call will also be used to notify everyone by phone. Emails will also be sent to all families. Occasionally, power outages may make it difficult for CCS to send email notices or robo calls, so if you do not receive one these and suspect a snow closure check with one of the media outlets.
If a delayed start is announced, school will begin at the announced time. Students should not arrive prior than one-half hour before the announced time.
